tl;dr - code completion for anything is available anywhere in the Xcode code editor by pressing the esc key (ie: within a comment block or a string). Complete a string or a method or your first name which is in the author comments at the top of the file

Sometimes it’s the little things which make your day function a whole lot better. In my case, I spend a large amount of time working in Xcode. I think it’s a beautiful tool from an aesthetic and functional standpoint. Often I find myself in the middle of typing a long word within a stringWithFormat: string and wish I could just autocomplete it based on usage somewhere else in that code file. And then I discovered you could. As follows:
